We are seeking a highly motivated data platform engineer intern to join our GCR Business Insights Platform team. As a data platform engineer intern, you will work on the development of data tools and platforms to support business insights & operation and data analytics for our organization. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or other science or engineering field, and have strong programming skills in both backend languages such as Java and Python, as well as frontend technologies such as Vue.js and React.

This role reports into the AWS GCR (Great China Region) Sales Strategy, Operations and Enablement (SSOE) organization.

1. Analyze data with statistical and ML techniques for Supply Chain solutions.

2. Develop analysis/model in both R and Python.

3. Develop science-based Supply Chain solutions.

4. Analysis/model documentation.

5. Learn and understand state-of-the-art statistical and ML techniques/tools.

6. Learn and understand Amazon Supply Chain operations.

岗位要求 Basic Qualification:

1. Current Master’s class / Bachelor class 2024/2025 and is going for graduate study in Beijing.

2. Familiar with building NLP/LLM applications.

3. Familiar with data analytics in Python, R, and SQL.

4. Fundamental understanding of statistical modeling.

5. Fundamental understanding of Machine Learning techniques.

6. Willing to learn Supply Chain domain knowledge.

7. CET-6 550+. Fluent in English listening and speaking; outstanding in reading and writing.

Preferred Qualification:

1. Background in Statistics/ML; strong statistical/ML knowledge.

2. General programming capability (e.g. software architecture, design patterns, Docker).

3. Knowledge of AWS services (e.g. SageMaker, ECS, Lambda, CDK).

4. Knowledge of database technologies (e.g. Redshift, Aurora, DynamoDB).

5. Familiar with Linux environment.

6. Fundamental Supply Chain experience/domain knowledge.

7. TOEFL 105+ or IELTS 7.5+.
