Full-Stack Developer Intern

Who are we?
CIMK is a Nanjing-based data analytics and FinTech startup that uses technology to make emotional
dynamics in the Chinese stock market transparent and quantifiable. Therefore, we are part of the
alternative data movement. We have developed AlterDataVision, a SaaS platform that analyzes the
emotions of various Chinese stakeholders on stocks listed in mainland China and Hong Kong. Our
customers can use our platform to quickly identify emotional changes and irrational behavior in the
market. Besides, we support international companies like Fischer, BASF, SAP, and German Accelerator
in market intelligence projects by collecting, analyzing, and visualizing external Chinese data sources.

What would be your role?

As a full-stack developer intern, you are a key team member that helps us build the web application of
our SaaS Platform that will be used by investment funds in China and outside of China.
The tasks include the front-end implementation of our dashboard platform, as well as the support in
the API-based connection to the backend. You will learn how to structure and visualize data to provide
the best possible user experience. You will also learn how to work on the Azure cloud platform.
You will work directly with the founders, finance researcher, and developer team.

Who are we searching for?

We are looking for someone who is able to quickly understand complex processes and take
responsibility. You will be part of an international team. Requirements for this role are:

• Degree in computer science or equivalent experiences
• You should have good knowledge and project experience using JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and at least
  one modern front-end framework
• Skills and experience in python
• Agile working experiences are also an advantage
• Very good communication skills in English
• You should also be ambitious and willing to work hard
