Position

Reporting to the VP of Engineering to develop vehicle control systems for Evoke’s vehicle control system. Develop and test software for stability and reliability and ensure the software works with the other vehicle systems.

Working closely with the management team, the Marketing Manager will also support online content direction and production, online and offline business development and sales strategies. Working in a fast growth startup in the EV / sustainable transportation industry and a member of a growing team, s/he will be involved in strategic planning, research, evaluation, and professional development initiatives, as well as expansion of the company both locally and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Embedded development programming experience in C and C++
• Strong documentation skills, able to explain abstract concepts clearly and concisely
• Strong C and C++ skills
• Debug and troubleshoot code
• Integrate with front end and backend team to integrate hardware with other peripherals
• Support software development and optimize source code
• Train and integrate with marketing and BD team for incremental updates and feedback
• Interface with hardware design and development
• Understand and develop vehicle safety, battery safety and EV safety algorithms
• Familiar with ARM and AVR microcontrollers is a plus
• Familiar with RTOS and
• Interest in motorcycles and riding, if you cannot ride yet we are looking for people who have a keen interest in the sport and are eager to learn.

Qualifications

• Proven working experience in software engineering
• BS degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent work experience
• Experience in hands-on development and troubleshooting on embedded targets
• Experience in a leadership role, preferably in EV or automotive industry
• Strong English written skills are required; Chinese or English communication
• Analytical skills, creativity and problem skills required
• A passion for technology
• Understand how to balance the practical and perfection
• Eagerness to continually learn and improve

Evoke Motorcycles Intern pay 100-200yuan/day
