INTERNSHIP: ASSISTANT TO GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS

JOB DESCRIPTION
This internship will start on 3rd July 2023 at the European Chamber Shanghai Office. 3-6 months, 3 to 5 days/week.
- – Research on Europe-China trade and business-related policies and current affairs. Weekly update of the polices & news in the Yangtze River Delta Area.
- – Research on industry policies and current affairs. Monthly update of industry working group newsletters.
- – Assist in organising working group meetings and/or government meetings. Tasks include sending invitation, writing meeting agenda and meeting minutes, conducting registration, and administrative work.
- – ENG/CHN translation and interpretation.
 SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES
- – Experiences in policy research and analysis. Have a good understanding of EU-China relations, China’s political system and local business environment.
- – Native Mandarin Chinese speaker. Excellent command of spoken and written English and Mandarin Chinese
- –Â Background in international relations, economics, political sciences, law, business, languages, or other relevant areas.
- –Â Good interpersonal skills (strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, proactivity, good communicator).
- –Â Computer literacy (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- –Â Ability to work on multiple tasks at the same time and in a fast-paced work environment.
