I studied engineering and Chinese at Carnegie Mellon for my bachelor’s degree, and I have 4 years of experience as a materials engineer and project leader at an international metal manufacturer, including prior work experience in China. I have just completed my MBA and moved back to Shanghai, and I am looking for commercial roles in multinational companies, with a preference for staying in the manufacturing/industrial sector. My long-term goal is high-level general management, and my ideal position in the near term would be a chief of staff or similar role with a near-term path to general management. I am happy to work at either a local or foreign company but would prefer a more globalized work environment where my English and overseas experience will be more useful.
